WHAT'S AT RISK?

whats_at_risk_mainA DUI conviction has serious consequences. In addition to the mandatory minimum sentencing, fines, and license suspension, a DUI conviction remains on a person’s criminal history and is not eligible for restriction or expungement. A DUI conviction may have unanticipated consequences to employment, professional licenses, pilot’s license, international travel, student loans or scholarships, auto insurance, immigration, and car rentals. How a DUI conviction impacts you in your particular circumstances is definitely something you should discuss with an attorney before making a decision to give up your right to the presumption of innocence and enter a guilty plea.
